This article explains how to request accounts for Designated Prescribing Practitioners (DPPs) and university staff.

Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) Accounts

If your university is eligible, we can provide your DPPs with access to our Independent and Supplementary prescribing programmes - Designated Prescribing Practitioner preparation resource.

If you are unsure whether your university is eligible, please contact our Support Team to discuss access.

How long does DPP access last?

DPP access is normally provided for 18 months.

Requesting DPP accounts

Please provide DPP Account requests in a spreadsheet containing their full name and email address as shown in the example below:

NameEmail
Tom SmithT.Smith@trustE.net

You can use the student account upload template to provide this information.
However, please do not include students and DPPs in the same upload file. When completing the template for DPPs, please use the following format for the cohort name: DPPs Supporting [Cohort Name]

DPPs are given access through our main HealthVLE organisation: https://app.healthvle.co.uk/login

This is because a DPP may support students from more than one university, and using the main organisation helps make their access simpler to manage.

We add DPPs in grouped uploads, which also means you can contact us at any time to request a progress report for the group of DPPs associated with your programme.

Certificates and Reports

Our Support Team can provide progress reports for a specific group of DPPs supporting a cohort.
You can email our Support Team to request an Engagement or Progress Report for your group of DPPs, and we will provide this for you.

DPPs can also download a 100% completion certificate once they have completed the course. Certificates are available within the Profile section of their HealthVLE account, located in the top-right corner of the page.

Staff (Org-Admin) Accounts

The HealthVLE and SN@P provide Org-Admin accounts for authorised university staff.

Depending on the platform and permissions provided, these accounts can allow staff to access learner information, monitor progress, view learning materials and manage assessment-related functions.

Because staff accounts can provide access to learner information, including names, email addresses, results and progress reports, requests must come from:

• an existing authorised Admin/Org-Admin user;

•your institution's nominated Key Contact or an appropriate programme lead.

Requesting a staff account

To request an account, please contact our Support Team and provide:

* the staff member's full name;

* their university email address; and

* the programme or cohort they require access to, where applicable.

There is no need to complete a spreadsheet or account upload template for staff accounts.

Please do not include staff or DPPs in student upload files

Please keep student, staff and DPP uploads separate.

You are welcome to use the upload template to provide details for DPPs.
However, please do not include students and staff/DPPs in the same spreadsheet.

If you are requesting accounts for DPPs, please provide these in a separate copy of the upload template.
This helps us ensure that each account is set up correctly and associated with the appropriate cohort or programme.

If you wish to let us know that particular academics are associated with a cohort or programme, you can include their name and email address in your email when sending the student upload template to our Support Team.

If you have any questions about the guidance above, please email us at support@hecooperative.co.uk
